Whether you are learning to shoot or are looking to develop your skills, shooting regularly is highly recommended in order to maintain your style, good habits, and it plays a fundamental part in improving your performance. Regular clay shooting, and simulated game days offered by the London Shooting Club are a great way to do this. Even the most expert shot can get out of practice and pick up bad habits quickly without regular practice or the watchful eye of an instructor.
With venues in locations accessible from central London and beyond, we ensure that some of our shooting grounds can be accessed using public transport. Our emphasis is on making sure that they provide quality equipment, instruction and facilities. Some venues are ideal for beginners, some for advanced members, while others are great for experiencing driven game situations. All lesson levels and focuses are clearly described but if you are not sure, we are also able to help you decide which lessons are ideal for you to attend, with an individual Shooting Consultation included in your membership.
Regular group lessons are a great way to improve your shooting whilst enjoying the social side of meeting fellow enthusiasts. Group lessons are held most weekends in London as well as some weekday daytime lessons. The lessons are clearly explained and offer a mixture of private sessions with only members of the London Shooting Club and some lessons with other clients from the venue. We ensure that we always offer a programme of different types of lessons from Skeet to competition standard traps and also that a wide variety is offered for different levels of shot. Group lessons are usually an hour long and there are regular sessions at selected London Shooting Club venues.
Booking your lesson: Members need only to Log In to the member’s area of the website, select a time and day they would like to shoot and we will organise the rest. A booking confirmation will be sent to your email, so all you need to do is follow the instructions and turn up to shoot.
Take a look at our Diary to find out what group lessons are currently available.
A private lesson is a superb oppertunity to hone your skills with some dedicated one-to-one tuition to suit any level of shot. These intensive sessions will allow you to focus on your individual development and specific problem areas or personal goals. Private lessons can be for one or more people.
